What TEMOTIZ is ?
TEMOTIZ is a cancer medicine used in the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multi forme concomitantly with radiotherapy and subsequently as mono therapy treatment. Children from the age of three years, adolescents and adult patients with malignant glioma, such as glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma, showing recurrence or progression after
standard therapy.
How TEMOTIZ works?
TEMOTIZhard capsules should be administered in the fasting state.The capsules must be swallowed whole with a glass of water and must not be opened or chewed.If vomiting occurs after the dose is administered, a second dose should not be administered that day.
How to take TEMOTIZ?
TEMOTIZis a triazene, which undergoes rapid chemical conversion at physiologic pH to the active monomethyltriazenoimidazolecarboxamide. The cytotoxicity of MTIC is thought to be due primarily to alkylation at the O6 position of guanine with additional alkylation also occurring at the N7 position.
