What LENATIZ is?

LENATIZ is an analogue of thalidomide. It is an immunomodulatory agent with anti-angiogenic and anti-neoplastic properties

How to take LENATIZ ?

Take LENATIZ by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. If you have trouble swallowing the tablet, you may place the tablet in a glass of water (4 to 8 ounces/120 to 240 milliliters). Stir well for 15 minutes. Drink all of the mixture right away.

How does LENATIZ work?

LENATIZ  inhibits proliferation and enhances apoptosis of certain haematopoietic tumour cells (including MM plasma tumour cells, follicular lymphoma tumour cells and those with deletions of chromosome 5), enhances T cell- and Natural Killer (NK) cell-mediated immunity and increases the number of NK, T and NK T cells. In MDS Del (5q), lenalidomide selectively inhibits the abnormal clone by increasing the apoptosis of Del (5q) cells.
