What Palabotiz is?

Palabotiz is indicated for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

How to take Palabotiz ?

The recommended dose is 125mg once daily for 21 consecutive days followed by 7 days of treatment to comprise a complete cycle of 28 days. The treatment should be continued as long as the patient derives clinical benefit from therapy or until unacceptable toxicity occurs.

How does AFATIZ work?

Palbotiz s a cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitor that acts by binding to the ATP pocket with an IC50 in the range of 9-15 nmol/l. The CDK4/6 kinase is involved, with coregulatory partner cyclin D, in the G1-S transition. Hence, an inhibitor of this step prevents cell cycle progression in cells.
