What Tiziax is?
Tiziax is antineoplastic agent indicated for the treatment of adult patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma after faliure of one prior systemic therapy.
How to take Tiziax ?
The recommended dose is 5mg twice daily. Treatment should continue as long as clinical benefit is observed or until unacceptable toxicity occurs that cannot be managed by concomitant medicinal product or dose adjustment. When dose reduction is required, the dose may be reduced to 3 mg twice daily and further to 2mg daily.
How does Tiziax work?
TIZIAX selectively blocks the tyrosine kinase receptors VEGFR-1 (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor), VEGFR -2, and VEGFR-3. It reduces disease progression by inhibiting cell proliferation.
